" The birth process often becomes an
   extension of the yoga practise"

FitPregnancy

What would be a better and more complete way beyond theoretical preparation for childbirth than doing yoga on a regular basis in a female community. The focus of the pregnancy classes are on the ever-changing state of the female body and soul:

  • The sequences of movements that strengthen the counterbalancing / scoring of the physical discomfort that may be associated with pregnancy, strengthen the muscles that are used more with the growing tummy, and teach the importance of the changing dynamics of stretching and letting go

  • Body awareness by learning to listen to the wishes of our bodies, the greatest benefits of which mums will experience during labour and childbirth

  • Sequences of breath-tuned movements deepen and automate breathing techniques that alleviate labour pain, help the release of hormones that support surges and labour, and help to stay balanced and calm through the whole pregnancy

  • The relaxation that closes the classes, in addition to the complete relaxation of the body and mind, helps with bonding with the baby at this early stage of life

  • The community of women at similar stages of life can provide invaluable support during pregnancy and childbirth

About Prenatal Yoga Class

" MamaLuna's pregnancy yoga classes were one of the highlights of my week! The classes were nurturing and

I felt so much more relaxed afterwards.

I used the yoga moves and breathing exercises both in pregnancy and labour and they were really effective. Judit  is so lovely, knowledgeable and non judgmental! Her classes are really good, and the atmosphere is so calming. I would definitely recommend these classes!"
