"Mourning the birth you hoped and planned for, and being thankful for a healthy baby are two different things".

Emily Allison

As a doula I see many expectant families with previous trauma from conception, pregnancy, birth or their postpartum experience which makes their day to day life or their recent pregnancy difficult.

If some or all of these sound familiar to you and you want to get released from those difficult feelings I am happy to help you.

Who is it for? It is for you if you have experienced a:

  •  difficult conception journey, IVF (in vitro fertilisation)

  • miscarriage, baby loss

  • high risk pregnancy

  • a difficult labour with a long and painful delivery

  • emergency treatment

  • other shocking, unexpected and traumatic experiences during birth.

  • NICU (neonatal intensive care unit)

  • breastfeeding difficulties

Who is it NOT for?

  • if you are already receiving treatment for a mental health condition
